One of the top remaining players in the transfer portal was in Manhattan over the weekend.

 

Forward Coleman Hawkins spent the weekend with the Wildcats, posing in pictures in the KSU purple. KState fans will have to wait a little longer for a decision, however, with Hawkins having one more visit to LSU this weekend.

 

Hawkins is a huge football fan, and he says that will play a huge role in his decision.

 

The Wildcats are firmly in the mix for Hawkins, featuring one of the most talented football rosters in the Big 12, and a basketball team eager to bounce back.

 

Hawkins averaged 12 points and six rebounds a game for Illinois last season, helping lead the Illini to the Elite Eight. He has been a starter for three seasons in his four year career.
