KSU Baseball Season Ends in Super Regionals

Kansas State was just two wins away from their first trip to Omaha in school history, but came up short.

The Wildcats had their season come to an end in the Charlottesville Super Regional, falling a best-of-3 series to the Virginia Cavaliers.

KSU entered the season Top 25 in the nation, led by MLB prospects Kaelen Culpepper, Tyson Neighbors, and Brady Day. The Wildcats earned a trip to super regionals for just the second time in school history.

Head coach Pete Hughes says the program is getting close.

The Wildcats finish the season with a 35-26 record. Virginia, Texas A&M, Florida State, Tennessee, NC State, Florida, North Carolina, and Kentucky are the eight teams that will battle for a national championship in Omaha.
