Woods-Blackowl Thankful for Time in Coffeyville

A leader for one of the most successful women's basketball classes in Red Raven history has made her commitment.

Point guard Tetona Woods-Blackowl will be continuing her career at Champion Christian College, a program in the National Christian College Athletic Association, and the 2021 NCCAA D2 National Champions.

Woods-Blackowl says she was able to grow as a player in her two seasons in Coffeyville.

Tetona was a key piece of a historic sophomore class for CCC Women's Basketball, starting over 50 games across two seasons. She says she'll have lifetime memories with this group.

Woods-Blackowl was considered undersized out of high school, which led to her competing at the JUCO level. She says the junior college experience has humbled her.

Tetona will have two seasons of eligibility remaining, and will look to make an immediate impact when she joins the team this summer.
