Chiefs Attending White House Friday

The world champion Chiefs will be making their trip to the nation's capital later this week.

Kansas City will be visiting President Joe Biden, and the White House, on Friday to celebrate the team's second consecutive Super Bowl championship, a victory over the San Francisco 49ers in February.

It is the third time Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid, Travis Kelce, and co have made the Washington trip, and the second time with Biden in office.

Championship teams began visiting the White House in 1963, when the Boston Celtics visited President John F. Kennedy.

The Chiefs are currently participating in offseason team activities, with rookie camp and training camp about two months away.
