Kansas State baseball is off to NCAA Regionals for the first time in over a decade.
The Wildcats received an at-large bid, and are one of 64 teams to qualify for the tournament. This is the first postseason berth for KSU since 2013.
Here's how it sounded on the selection show yesterday.
They will be in the Fayetteville regional, hosted by the University of Arkansas, and will open the tournament against Louisiana Tech on Friday. Southeastern Missouri is the final team in the Fayetteville Region.
Regionals begin on Friday, and run until June 3rd, with a double elimination style bracket.
Kansas State is 32-24 on the season, with a 15-15 record in conference play, and coming off a 1-2 record in the conference tournament.
