A Goodland football player is one of only 32 high school players in the Class of 2025 to earn a 5-star rating in recruiting.
Tight end Linkon Cure has generated buzz over the past two seasons, standing 6-foot-6 and emerging as the second-ranked tight end in the country.
He says he's thankful for the opportunities he's been given.
Cure has narrowed down recruiting to his final four schools: Kansas, Kansas State, Texas A&M, and Oregon. He says he's hoping to make a decision soon.
Cure is the second-ranked player in the state, according to 247 Sports, only behind offensive tackle Andrew Babalola of Blue Valley Northwest. Kansas State is considered the favorite for Cure at this moment.
