Nado Athletes Ready for State Meet

We're inching closer and closer to the 2024 Kansas State Track and Field meet, and two more Field Kindley athletes are ready to put on a show.

Junior Jake Horner is competing in both the 100 meter dash and the 4x100 meter relay. He says each of those events has slightly different starting positions.

Horner is a returner to the state meet. He says when it's time to race, you have to block out everything else.

Alexzander Morris is participating in the state meet for the first time in his career, in the discus throw. He says he's excited for his first state meet experience.

The state meet begins Friday afternoon in Wichita. KGGF will continue to highlight different members of the Field Kindley track and field team leading up to the meet.
