Rice Present for OTAs

The Chiefs began organized team activities in preparation for the 2024 season, with a notable name present.

Wide receiver Rashee Rice was in uniform with the team as OTAs opened yesterday, despite his offseason of legal troubles.

Rice is facing eight felony charges stemming from a six-vehicle crash in Dallas, which was the result of street racing. He was also under investigation for an assualt in a Dallas nightclub, although all of those charges were dropped today.

Rice led the team in touchdowns as a rookie last season, and was second on the team in catches and yards. ESPNs Adam Teicher says Rice is a focal point of the Kansas City air attack.

Rice is subject to the NFL's player conduct policy and is likely facing a suspension for the incidents.
