The Royals finish off a sweep of the Oakland Athletics with an 8-4 win yesterday.

 

Brady Singer was sharp once again in six solid innings, improving to 4-2 on the season with a 2.70 earned run average.

 

Kansas City was able to score six runs across the 5th and 6th innings. Manager Matt Quatraro says the team has been grinding all season long.

 

Kansas is 10 games over .500 at 29-19, the first time they've been 10 games over .500 since 2015, the year they won the World Series. 

 

They begin a big series with the Detroit Tigers, with division implications. Quatraro says the team knows they'll have to bring it against Detroit.
