Worthy Impresses Early at Chiefs Camp

It has been an impressive start to the career of the Chiefs first round pick.

Wide receiver Xavier Worthy has showcased both speed and technique early in Chiefs mini camp, catching the eyes of many around the league.

General Manager Brett Veach says Worthy is much more than his speed.

With the injury history of Marquise Brown, the inconsistency of Skyy Moore and Kadarius Toney, and the impending suspension for Rashee Rice, Worthy will have a big role early. Veach says his intelligence has impressed the organization.

Worthy broke the combine record with a 4.21 second 40-yard dash, and had over 1,000 yards receiving last season at Texas.
