Chiefs Extend Andy Reid, Front Office Members

The Kansas City Chiefs have given contract extensions to vital members of the organization.

Chiefs CEO and Chairman Clark Hunt announced that the organization has agreed to extensions with President Mark Donovan, General Manager Brett Veach, and Head Coach Andy Reid.

Reid has been coach for ten seasons, and has led the team to the playoffs in nine of those ten years. The Chiefs have won three Super Bowls in the past five years, including being the first team to win back-to-back in two decades.

Veach became the Chiefs general manager in 2017, and has been mainly responsible for drafting players such as Trent McDuffie, Creed Humphrey, George Karlaftis, and others.

Donovan became Chiefs president in 2011. He leads the business operations of the organization.

Both Reid and Veach have extensions that run through the end of the decade. Reid becomes the highest paid coach in the NFL.
