Kansas State has landed a pair of talented guards in the transfer portal, and head coach Jerome Tang is excited about it.

 

Tang was a guest on the Matt Mosley Show on ESPN Central Texas to discuss the additions of Dug McDaniel and C.J. Jones.

 

Tang says Jones has ties to a player already on the roster.

 

The Wildcats have been involved in talks with nearly a dozen names in the transfer portal. Tang says they are focused on finding high-IQ players that limit mistakes.

 

Kansas State is still awaiting news regarding the potential return of forward Arthur Kaluma, who was Honorable Mention All-Big 12 as a junior.
