Royals Sweep Astros, Win 7th Straight

 

The Kansas City Royals win their seventh straight game, sweeping the Houston Astros in a 13-3 victory yesterday.

 

Bobby Witt Jr had a huge game, hitting two home runs and driving in five. Vinnie Pasquantino also had three hits and three runs batted in.

 

Pasquantino says the winning streak has been fun for the players and fans alike.

 

Kansas City is 9-4 on the season, the third best record in baseball behind only the Yankees and Guardians. Manager Matt Quatraro says he's been impressed with the team's competitve spirit.

 

The Royals go for eight in a row tonight, kicking off a series with the New York Mets. Michael Wacha goes for Kansas City, while Luis Severino will get the ball for New York. Coverage begins at 6 with first pitch at 6:10 on the Mighty 690, KGGF.
