Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice is cooperating with Dallas authorities following a major automobile accident over the weekend.

 

A six-vehicle crash on Saturday evening ended with four total injuries, resulting from a speeding Corvette and Lamborghini in the left lane. The individuals in the Corvette and Lamborghini left the scene without determining if anyone needed medical attention, or providing any information.

 

Attorney Royce West released a statement on Rice's behalf regarding the situation. NFL analyst Adam Schefter says Rice is cooperating any way he can.

 

One of the vehicles in the accident was registered to Rice, but it has yet to be determined if Rice was one of the drivers, or was even in the car. The NFL is monitoring the situation, per league spokesperson Brian McCarthy.

 

Rice became a star for Kansas City in his rookie season, making 79 catches for 938 yards and seven touchdowns. It is unknown at this time whether he will face charges regarding the accident.
