Kansas State Forward Enters Transfer Portal

Kansas State basketball continues to suffer significant losses to the roster, with a talented forward joining Cam Carter in the transfer portal.

Center Jerrell Colbert has entered the portal following his sophomore season at KSU. This is the second time Colbert has been in the portal, also transferring from LSU after the 2021-22 season.

Colbert is from Germantown, Tennessee, a suburb of Memphis, and was Second Team All-Metro in the Memphis area his senior season. He redshirted last season, and played in 31 games for the Wildcats this year, averaging 2.6 points and 2.3 rebounds per game.

Kansas State is looking to rebound after a disappointing 19-15 season, which ended with a loss in the NIT Tournament. Colbert will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
