Ravens Sweep Colby on Sophomore Day

The Red Ravens quickly bounce back from the loss to Hutchinson, winning a pair of games on sophomore day.

The Lady Ravens complete the regular season sweep of Colby, winning 59-43. Head coach Tony Turner says it was a solid performance from the group.

Ivy Fox had 10 points, and Olivia Dyja had eight. Turner says he was happy to see the sophomores perform well.

Colby and Coffeyville will play a third time in the first round of the Region VI Tournament on Saturday.

The men use a big second half to pull away to a 93-76 win, and clinch a first round home playoff game. Assistant coach Jake Odum says the team made plays they needed to down the stretch.

Cris Carroll and Brian Griffith each had 25 points, and Jahni Summers had 20 as well. Odum says Carroll has improved as an interior scorer.

CCC wraps up the regular season on Wednesday night against the Independence Pirates.
