The Caney Valley Bullpups jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, as the guys defeated the Bluestem Lions 72-38 in high school basketball action tonight in Caney. 
 
 Three Bullpups were in double figures in scoring, led by Payton Darden with 16. Colt Hightower had 14, while Ben Matthews added 13 in the win. Once again, ten Bullpups made it to the scorebook.

 Caney jumped out to a 24-7 lead at the end of the 1st quarter and extended their lead throughout the game.

 The Lady Lions hit clutch free throws in the last minute of their contest, as they defeated the Lady Pups 46-43.

 Both teams will travel to Humboldt Friday night to take on the Cubs.
