Fredonia is able to get back on track with a crucial road win over Eureka, 51-49, in the High School Basketball Game of the Week.

 

The Ysllow Jackets overcame a slow start offensively to take a seven point lead at the half, behind the play of juniors Emmit Couch and Ashton O'Neal.

 

Eureka would battle back to take the lead following four 3-pointers in the third quarter from Laken Valentine. The game would stay within one score for the rest of the night, with the Yellow Jackets earning a slim two point victory.

 

Fredonia picks up their sixth win of the season, and will host Neodesha on Tuesday, while Eureka drops to 2-10, but show their ability to be a spoiler team moving closer to playoffs.
