The Red Ravens struggled with two talented Hutchinson teams, dropping a doubleheader at home.

 

The Lady Ravens fell 58-39 in Game 1, with CCC struggling to get going offensively. The Ravens committed 21 turnovers and shot just 27% from the field. Bailey Layman led the team with 17 points.

 

The men attempted an improbable comeback in Game 2 after trailing by 25 points early in the second half, but came up short 92-78.

 

CCC outscored Hutchinson 48-39 in the second half, but were unable to overcome the 62% shooting by the Blue Dragons in the opening 20 minutes.

 

Jahni Summers led the team with 26 points, his third consecutive game with at least 25. Assistant coach Braeden Proctor says Summers is locked in right now.

 

The Ravens wrap up the first half of conference play this week, with a road trip to Colby on Wednesday followed by a matchup with Independence on Saturday.
