Ravens Split Doubleheader in Dodge City

There were mixed results for the Red Ravens in Dodge City, with the teams splitting a mid-week doubleheader.

The Lady Ravens dropped Game 1 by a score of 106-75. The theme wasn't poor play from the Ravens, but rather historically good shooting from the Conquistadors, who finished the night with 23 three-pointers made and a 67% shooting percentage from beyond the arc.

Bailey Layman led the team with 17 points, Ivy Fox had 16, and freshman Karys Washington had 15.

The men were able to bounce back in Game 2, winning convincingly over Dodge 91-72.

Jahni Summers continues to progress to a star in the Jayhawk Conference, scoring 28 points to lead all scores. Cris Carroll returned from illness to score 19, and Brian Griffith had 17.

The Ravens will host the Hutchinson Blue Dragons at Nellis Hall on Saturday afternoon.
