The Michigan Wolverines are national champions after defeating the Washington Huskies 34-13 in the College Football Playoff.

 

Michigan stayed true to a formula that has worked well for the team all season, running the ball and playing outstanding defense. The team rushed for 303 yards, and kept star quarterback Michael Penix Jr under pressure all night.

 

Head coach Jim Harbaugh, a former Wolverine QB, says this win is important to his legacy.

 

There has been plenty of speculation regarding Harbaugh potentially returning to the NFL. He says he's not focused on what's next.

 

The Georgia Bulldogs open as the early favorite to win the 2025 National Championship.
