After a nine-win season and a bowl game victory for the first time in 15 years, the Kansas Jayhawks are getting one of their stars back.

 

Cornerback Cobee Bryant will return for his senior season to lead the Jayhawk defense, following quarterback Jalon Daniels and running back Devin Neal.

 

Bryant has been named first-team All-Big 12 each of the past two seasons, the first Jayhawk defensive back to accomplish that since Aqib Talib in 2006 and 2007. He led the team in defensive snaps, and was only targeted 34 times this season.

 

The Jayhawks have had multiple key players announce their return for one more season, attempting to chase a conference championship.
