Former Wildcat Safety Commits to Oregon

A staple of the Kansas State defense this season has announced his next destination.

Safety Kobe Savage has officially committed to the University of Oregon for his final season of college football.

Savage spent two seasons in JUCO playing for Tyler Junior College before transferring to Kansas State. He totaled 115 tackles, six interceptions, and a forced fumble in his two seasons in Manhattan.

Kansas State has dealt with a number of key pieces entering the portal, with Savage joining quarterback Will Howard, running back Treshaun Ward, and defensive end Nate Matlack.

Chris Klieman will look to the transfer portal to add a veteran leader to the secondary.
