The Royals have kept busy welcoming new players to the organization this holiday season, and one of the newest additions believes in the team's potential.

 

Outfielder Hunter Renfroe agreed to a two year deal with the Royals last week, becoming the latest of a plethora of incoming talent to Kauffman Stadium. Renfroe has elite power, hitting at least 20 home runs in every season of his career except the shortened 2020 season.

 

He says the team's improvements are enough to win the AL Central.

 

Kansas City has not been to the postseason since winning the World Series in 2015, and will look to overtake the Minnesota Twins and Cleveland Guardians at the top of the division in 2024.
