Kansas State has seen more than a dozen players enter the transfer portal following the 2023 regular season, with a major name joining that group.
Senior defensive back Kobe Savage, who spent two seasons in Manhattan following a successful two years at Tyler Junior College, has entered the portal for his final season of eligibility.
Savage served as a captain and starter for the team this season, and was a key leader of the defense. He was awarded second-team All-Big 12 following a senior season with 57 tackles and three interceptions.
Savage joins quarterback Will Howard and defensive back Will Lee as notable names to depart Manhattan in the past several weeks.
