In the battle of Caney High Schools, the Trojans traveled to the land of Bullpups and came away with a 53-35 victory. 
 Fouls and missed free throws played a key role in the loss for the Bullpups, who fell to 0-3 in the young season. 
 The Trojans were able to neutralize Colt Hightower on the offensive end, holding him to six points on the night, and causing him to foul out in the 4th quarter. 
 Ben Matthews had another solid performance in the low post, leading the Bullpups with nine points. 
 The Lady Bullpups won their matchup earlier in the night 51-48. They improve to 2-1 on the season.
