Kansas Offensive Coordinator Leaves for Penn State

The Kansas Jayhawks will be looking for a new leader of the offense.

Offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki is leaving the program to become the new offensive coordinator at Penn State University.

Kotelnicki has worked with Lance Leipold at KU, Buffalo, and Wisconsin-Whitewater, and has overseen a complete transformation of the Jayhawk offense. Kansas ranks 29th in the nation this season in both scoring and yards per game, despite missing star quarterback Jalon Daniels.

Since the start of last season, the Jayhawks have the nation's sixth best offense in yards per play. Quarterbacks coach Jim Zebrowski has been promoted to co-offensive coordinator, however the team is still expected to hire a new playcaller.
