A pair of nationally ranked teams and conference championship contenders square off for the first time this season.

 

The Butler Grizzlies, recently tabbed as the #3 team in the nation, bring an 8-0 record to Nellis Hall for a Wednesday night matchup with the 8-1 Lady Ravens.

 

Each of these teams have championship expectations, dating back to summer workouts. Head coach Tony Turner says this is a matchup everyone has been waiting for.

 

Butler showcases talented forwards, led by preseason conference player of the year Freddie Wallace. Turner says his team has the size and depth to match the Grizzlies' physicality.
