KSU Alum Nowell Makes NBA Debut

 

A star player from last season's Kansas State basketball team makes his NBA debut.

 

Point guard Markquis Nowell played four minutes for the Toronto Raptors against the Milwaukee Bucks, scoring two points, as well as collecting two rebounds, two assists, and a steal.

 

Nowell is currently on a two-way contract with the Raptors, splitting time between Toronto and the G-League affiliate 905 Raptors. He has averaged 16.3 points and 10 assists per game in the G-League thus far.

 

Nowell will turn 24 years old next month, and will look to continue earning a role in the top basketball league in the world.
