High school football playoffs have arrived in southeast Kansas, and there are numerous local teams in action this week.

 

In 4A, Field Kindley will host Augusta, Independence takes on Andover Central, and Labette County draws Louisburg.

 

Parsons takes on Iola in the 3A playoffs. In 2A, Humboldt hosts Cherryvale, Neodesha travels to Osage City, and Caney hosts Council Grove.

 

Erie hosts Central Heights in 1A. West Elk hosts Burlingame in eight-man, while Sedan travels to Cair Paravel. Chetopa is on a bye and will await the winner of Southern Coffey County and Pawnee Heights.
