Kansas State Facing Tough Decision at QB

The Kansas State Wildcats have a difficult decision to make before Saturday's game against TCU.

Freshman quarterback Avery Johnson scored five rushing touchdowns against Texas Tech, the first freshman football player with five rushing TDs since 2014.

Tim Everson of the Manhattan Mercury says Johnson has earned the opportunity to see more playing time.

Kansas State senior Will Howard has been the quarterback all season, following leading the team to a Big 12 championship last season. Everson says this is the toughest decision of the season.

Chris Klieman has yet to commit to a starter for this week's game. Everson says he has an idea of who will start under center against TCU.

Kansas State returns to Manhattan to battle the Horned Frogs on Saturday.
