A Field Kindley volleyball player passes 1,000 career digs. Senior Riley Wintjen says she knew the milestone was coming but she wasn't sure when it was going to happen.

Wintjen has played varsity since her freshman year playing as a libero but had a change of position this year to help the team. Wintjen says she knew after last season this milestone was a possibility.

Head Coach Tyler Coots says he was impressed with how she took over the game knowing the milestone was coming.  Coots says, after some research, 1,000 in any stat has only been done a handful of times in the history of Field Kindley High School.
