The Red Raven volleyball team stays red hot, winning for the 14th time in their past 16 matches.

 

Coffeyville swept the Hesston College Larks in straight sets 25-9, 25-14, 25-9. It was sophomore night for the program, celebrating the first group of players to spend two seasons with coach Deardin Kelley.

 

Kelley says it's a great feeling being able to reward players for their efforts.

 

CCC currently sits in the middle of a battle for seeding in the approaching region tournament. The Ravens, along with KCK, Allen County, Highland, Fort Scott, Labette Co, and Independence, are all separated by just four games.

 

The Ravens still have quite a bit of control over their own destiny, with upcoming home matches against Allen County and Labette, as well as road contests with Fort Scott and Independence.

 

CCC will be in action next on Monday against NEO on the road.
