It was a very successful weekend for Red Raven athletics, with the men's and women's soccer teams sweeping a doubleheader following the football game.
The Lady Ravens scored three goals in the second half to defeat the Jefferson College Vikings 3-0. Tayline Teixeira scored the first goal of the match with 15 minutes remaining, and added a second goal seven minutes later. Keyesha Sibbles added the final tally to give the Ravens their fourth win of the season.
The men's team followed the opening act with a 1-0 victoy over the Vikings as well. Aron Ponce had four saves and earned the shutout victory, while Mario De La Fuente scored the lone goal of the match.
CCC sits at 4-7 on the season on the women's side, and 6-4-2 on the men's side. Both teams return to action tomorrow night against the Barton Cougars.
