Nado Look to Stay at the Top of 4A West

Its a battle of 4A West one versus 4A West two as Field Kindley hosts Wamego. Last year this was a battle of unbeaten teams, with the Red Raiders beating the Nado 34-6 in Wamego. Head Coach Deonta Wade says they are a deeper and healthier team than they were last year.

Wamego has the depth to sub out 11 for offense and defense and can strike quickly with a big play. Coach Wade says they want to force the Red Raiders into three-and-outs or long drawn out drives.

In 4A, Coffeyville has the number 10 ranked scoring offense, Wamego is at seven, Coffeyville has the 10th ranked rush offense, and Wamego is at nine, and are 10th in total offense. On the other side of the ball, Coffeyville is second in points allowed, Wamego is first, Coffeyville has the first-ranked run defense, Wamego is fourth, Wamego is the third-ranked pass defense and Coffeyville is fourth in total defense and Wamego is first. Pregame starts at 6:30pm with kick-off at 7:00pm on Sonshine 98.9 KQQF.
