Nado Improve to 2-1 with Dominate Win over Columbus

The Nado make it two in a row with a 42-12 win on the road at Columbus.

Coffeyville started strong on the back of Aaron Tunstall who scored a 42-yard touchdown on the second play of the game and a 20-yard touchdown on the fourth play. Penalties would slow Coffeyville's offense after the hot start, allowing Columbus to cut the lead to eight on a double pass as Jett Tanner hit Jace Midgett for a 93-yard touchdown. The Nado would clean things up enough to extend their lead to 28-6 heading into halftime.

Coffeyville continued its scoring run in the second half adding two more touchdowns for 28 unanswered points and a 42-6 lead. The Titans would score on their final play of the game on a four-yard touchdown to Tanner, who finished with one passing and one receiving touchdown.

Tunstall finished the game with 146 yards on 10 carries and two scores. Axel Erne threw for 105 yards and two touchdowns, one to Amanie Luten and one to Keyshawn Hayes. Josh Shobe and Jeremy Colbert added a touchdown a piece on the ground. The Nado would hold Columbus to -23 yards rushing.

Coffeyville improves to 2-1 and will take on Independence on the road for Indy's homecoming.
