The Caney Valley Bullpups look to get back on track after last week's 28-8 loss to Humboldt as they take on the Eureka Tornadoes for Homecoming.
For one of the few times in recent history, the clock worked against Caney, as Humboldt QB Blake Ellis used a balance of passing and rushing to keep the Caney defense on the field more than normal. Caney running back Jackson Griffin accounted for the lone touchdown and subsequent two point conversion.
Eureka is 1-1 on the season; they'll need a good rotation on the defensive line to go against the platoon of Caney backs.
Homecoming coronation begins at 6:00 with pregame starting at 6:45 and kickoff at 7:00 p.m. on Greatest Hits 104.1.
