One of the NFL's best quarterbacks suffered a potential serious injury just minutes into the 2023 season.
New York Jets signal caller Aaron Rodgers suffered an ankle injury on the fourth snap of the game, and did not return to the team's 22-16 overtime win against the Buffalo Bills.
Jets coach Robert Salah fears that the injury is a signicant one, which will be checked in an MRI today. Rodgers is 39 years old, and an injury of that magnitude may be career ending at this stage of the future Hall of Famer's career.
Former 1st round pick Zack Wilson replaced Rodgers at quarterback, and appears to be the Jets' starting QB moving forward.
