The Kansas State Wildcats kick off the 2023 season, and their Big 12 Championship title defense this weekend.

 

KSU opens the 2023 season against the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks tomorrow evening in Manhattan.

 

Head Coach Chris Klieman says the Redhawks will test the Wildcat defense.

 

Kansas State struggled at times in 2022 allowing big plays to opposing offenses. Klieman says limiting big gains will be the way to slow the SEMO offense.

 

A vast majority of publications consider KSU a top-2 championship contender in the Big 12, along with the Texas Longhorns. Klieman says it's time to prove they are worthy of the hype.
