The West Elk Patriots open the 2023 season at home, looking to build on a dominant 2022 campaign.

 

Our Week 1 KGGF High School Football Game of the Week brings us to Howard for the Patriots' home opener against the Udall Eagles.

 

West Elk Coach Chris Haag says his team needs to focus on playing their style of football.

 

The Patriots display outstanding speed and athleticism on both sides of the ball, which led to a 50-0 victory over Udall last season.

 

Haag says execution on each play will be the key in Week 1.
