High School football kicks off around the area this week, and the weekly Coach's Corner program returns to our family of stations.

 

Each week, head coaches from 10 area high schools will provide updates on key injuries, opponent scouting, team performance, and so much more.

 

On Wednesdays a trio of coaches can be heard on the Mighty 690, with Erie at 9:30 a.m., Chetopa at 9:40 a.m., and West Elk at 10:45 a.m.

 

Thursdays brings two coaches on the Mighty 690, with Sedan at 9:30 a.m. and Fredonia at 10:30 a.m.

 

Fridays will feature five teams, including the four Montgomery County schools, with Cherryvale at 9:30 a.m. and Neodesha at 10:30 a.m. on the Mighty 690. Greatest Hits 104.1 brings Caney, which can be heard at 9:35 a.m., and Independence at 3 p.m. Field Kindley is found at 4:15 p.m on Sunshine 98.9.

 

The KGGF family of stations will be broadcasting three high school games this week, with Caney facing Erie on U.S. 98, Field Kindley battling Mulvane on Sunshine 98.9, and West Elk squaring off with Udall in our Game of the Week on the Mighty 690.
