The Fredonia Yellow Jackets look to make it back to the playoffs in 2023, following an up and down 2022 campaign.

 

Like many other schools, Fredonia lost key seniors from last year's team. Head Coach Marc Svaty says it will be a very different group this year.

 

The Yellow Jackets threw the ball frequently in 2022, due to star senior quarterback Joel Dutton. With a new signal caller under center in 2023, Svaty says the team will dial back the passing a bit.

 

Playing in a tough conference, Fredonia will rely on an offensive line that gained significant experience last season. Svaty says he believes his team will have a gritty identity.

 

Fredonia opens the 2023 season on September 1st against the Humboldt Cubs.
