Following a trip to the third round of the playoffs, the Caney Valley Bullpups are hungry for more success in 2023.

 

Caney won eight games in 2022 behind support and encouragement from the community. Head Coach Criss Davis says there's nothing quite like Friday nights in Caney.

 

The Bullpups once again feature a strong rushing attack with numerous weapons on the offensive side of the ball. The Caney defense, while young, is expected to be talented once again in 2023.

 

Caney does face a difficult schedule in 2023, with multiple playoff teams upcoming this fall. Davis says it's to prepare the team for the end goal.

 

Entering his 38th season as coach, Davis says he's feeling as good as he ever has.

 

Caney opens the 2023 season on September 1st against the Erie Red Devils.
