Coffeyville Community College will open as a conference championship contender in the 2023 season.

 

The Red Ravens were projected to finish 4th in the eleven-team Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference East preseason poll. The poll was voted on by the KJCCC coaches.

 

The top four teams in the preseason poll are identical to the 2022 final standings, with Johnson County projected to repeat at the top, Cowley predicted second, and Kansas City Kansas slotting in third.

 

CCC improved drastically in the first year under coach Deardin Kelley, with eight more wins in 2022 (26-10) than in 2021 (18-21).

 

The Red Ravens open the season at the Southeast Community College Tournament in Beatrice, Nebraska on August 18th. The first home match will be on August 30th against Northeast Oklahoma A&M.
