Five Chiefs Named to CBS Top 100

Kansas City Chiefs star power remains on full display, with five members of the roster named to CBS Sports' annual Top 100 list.

The list is headed by reigning league MVP and two-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Patrick Mahomes. It is the second time Mahomes has been graded the top player in the league in his career.

Tight end Travis Kelce lands at No. 6 on the list. Kelce has seven consecutive seasons of at least 1,000 receiving yards and shows no sign of slowing down as he enters his eleventh NFL season.

Defensive tackle Chris Jones was a finalist for Defensive Player of the Year in 2022, earning him the No. 10 spot on the list. Jones is the main force of a defense that played their best football in the Super Bowl, and led all interior lineman with 15.5 sacks last season.

Center Creed Humphrey has emerged as one of the league's top offensive lineman in his young career, and he slots in at No. 40 on the list. Humphrey is consistently graded as an elite center and will be due for a hefty pay day in the coming years.

Guard Joe Thuney is the final Chief on the list, landing at No. 80. Thuney still graded as one of the best interior lineman in the NFL despite playing injured in 2022, and has revamped the Kansas City offensive line since signing as a free agent.
