Less than 48 hours after Arizona announced intentions to move to the Big 12 conference, two additional schools will be following them.

 

The Utah Utes and Arizona State Sun Devils are the latest Pac 12 schools to abandon ship, following unanimous approval from school presidents and chancellors.

 

ESPN Senior College Football Writer Pete Thamel says the schools are finalizing membership.

 

The Pac 12 is now down to four current schools (Oregon State, Stanford, California, and Washington State), while the Big 12 will have 16 members beginning in 2024-25.

 

The Big 12 is now the same size as the SEC and only two smaller than the 18 team new look Big Ten.
