The Kansas Jayhawks are ready to build upon their impressive 2022 season, and the stars of the team are leading the charge.

 

Quarterback Jalon Daniels took the nation by storm a season ago, lighting up the college football world with highlight plays and the first 5-0 start for the Jayhawks in 15 years. He says he's working every day to make sure he's even better this year.

 

Star running back Devin Neal was one of the four players on KU last season to be First Team All-Conference. He says the running back room is deeper than it's ever been, and he's excited to show it on the field.

 

The Jayhawks had their best season since 2008, winning six games and earning a bowl bid against Arkansas. Daniels says the next step for the program is more consistent execution on the field by the players.

 

Kansas opens the 2023 season on September 1st.
