Domingo German Throws 24th Perfect Game in MLB History

Major League Baseball has the first perfect game since the 2012 season.

Yankees right-hander Domingo German recorded 27 consecutive outs in an 11-0 victory over the Oakland Athletics last night. German becomes the fourth Yankee to throw a perfect game, and the 24th perfect game overall.

WFAN's Justin Shackil had the call of the final out that cemented German in baseball history.

German also becomes the first Domincan born player in the history of Major League Baseball to throw a perfect game. He joins Don Larsen, David Wells, and David Cone as Yankees to accomplish the near impossible feat.

The most recent perfect game prior to last night came on August 15th, 2012 when Felix Hernandez retired 27 in a row for the Seattle Mariners.
