West Virginia Transfer to Visit Kansas State

A key member of last season's West Virginia backcourt is in the transfer portal, and will visit Kansas State later this week.

Senior guard Joe Toussaint elected to enter the portal following the resignation of former WVU head coach Bob Huggins two weeks ago. According to CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein, it appears that Toussaint will remain in the Big 12 conference.

Toussaint is currently in Lubbock visiting the Texas Tech Red Raiders, and will make a trip to Manhattan on Thursday.

The guard appeared in all 36 games for the Mountaineers last season, and averaged 9.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game as a consistent presence off the bench.

The Wildcats have already added guard Tylor Perry and forward Arthur Kaluma in the transfer portal this offseason.
