A Wichita native and Jayhawks star has been drafted by the Toronto Raptors in the NBA Draft.

The six-foot-six guard was the 13th overall pick in the 1st round of the 2023 draft. Kansas coach Bill Self says he knew Dick would be an NBA player, but never thought it would happen so fast.

The wing has displayed a wide variety of skills on the court, being a premiere sharpshooter, but also showing impressive size, explosiveness, and finishing ability around the rim.

Dick will have an immediate opportunity to make an impact in Toronto, after the Raptors were the worst 3-point shooting team in the NBA last season.
